The Curl Salon has proudly partnered with Wigs for Kids. Wigs for Kids is an organization that gifts children experiencing hair loss with a free wig. Wigs for Kids accepts hair donations of 12” or longer with curls stretched. This appointment must be booked as an add on to your curly cut appointment with your desired stylist.

We recommend a thorough consultation with one of our expert colorists prior to booking the service appointment to assess your curls’ health and establish a plan to get you to the results you’re looking for. Keep in mind that the final result may take several visits to achieve, depending on how damaged or weak your hair is.

Toners are a great in between service to add tone, shine and eliminate unwanted brassiness. Must be added to a cut or color service.

Double-process blonde-ing brings forth refined and sophisticated tonality. Taking hair from black and dark brown to blonde may have to be done in a couple appointments in order to preserve the integrity of your hair.

Special Treatment
This is an add on service if you think detangling will exceed the average 15 minutes. Adding this service will allow your stylist extra time to gently remove stubborn knots/tangles.
Does your hair feel dry and thirsty, bring your curls back to life with a deep conditioning treatment. This is a great treatment to restore moisture to damaged or dry hair.
Quadraplex is a restorative and protective treatment that rebuilds the broken bonds in your hair.
This non-stripping cleanser with the Clarifying Complex helps remove product buildup, hard water, chlorine and environmental impurities on all curl types.
This is a great service for anyone with product build up, dandruff or just wanting an invigorating scalp treatment.
Our micro mist treatment will quench any curls thirst through a steam treatment. Micro water particles penetrate deeper into your hair cuticle for instant and long lasting hydration.

Styling
This service is for anyone going to a special occasion and wants professionally sculpted hair. Wedding Styles require a trial at least a week before your special day.
This customized service begins with a hot towel, massaging cleanse and conditioning of your curls, followed by a styling and coaching session to help you care for your curls at home.

Lashes
A method where 1 lash extension is glued to 1 natural lash. This method is also known as 1 to 1 or 1:1. Classic lashes are perfect for clients who already have a lot of lashes, but want to add more length.
Lash fills are simply new extensions placed on natural lashes as the old ones fall off. Lash fills should scheduled every 2-3 weeks
A special glue removal technique that breaks down the bonds of the adhesive used to glue lashes.

Choosing A Stylist
The Curl Salon believes in delivering only the highest quality of service while also creating space for learning and growth within the Twin Cities' professional curl styling community. That's why we provide different levels of stylist for some of our services.
Each stylist ranges in price and availability.
Stylist In Training
Stylists in Training are licensed with the State of Minnesota but are still working to complete our 8-week Curly Cut training program. Cuts from these stylists are designed to give experience to our trainees and are offered at a lower cost to you. Each cut will be supervised by a Senior Stylist.
Level 1 | Curl Specialist
At this level the stylist is a Cosmetology School Graduate with their State of MN License and has taken our 8 week Curl Salon Cirriculum. Although they may be in the beauty industry for while, they are new to curly hair. They are available to do basic cuts and color. All color consultations will be a collaboration with your stylist and an elder stylist to ensure appropriate color formulation and technique. Following your appointment the owner may send the client a brief survey pertaining to their experience. Honest feedback is essential for the stylist’s growth.
Level 2 | Curl Expert
A Curl Expert has acquired a great amount of experience with all aspects of hair and communication. They are problem solvers, well educated, educators, mentors and experienced enough to achieve more advanced color techniques, color corrections, cuts and styles. They also have an extensive clientele.
Level 3 | Curl Director
A Director stylist has the largest demand for their time behind the chair. They have an advanced level of education and are phenomenal communicators. At this point in their career they are booked for several weeks in advance. They are exceptional professionals who inspire and educate their teammates and clients.

Curl Friend
Bouncy and bubbly, but not wound tight? Anywhere from loose curls to corkscrew curls. Come on in curl friend! We'll give you a cut that lifts up each and every curl and washes and color that nourish your hair with the moisture it craves.
Royally Coiled
There's no stopping your curls from coming out. Tight coils and z angled coils land you firmly in the coiled category. We'll shape and moisturize your hair to perfection leaving it happy and healthy when you walk out the door.

Curl Salon Service Policies
At The Curl Salon we require a minimum 24-hour notice to cancel or change any appointment. Cancellations without proper notice prohibit other clients on our waitlist from being able to fill that appointment time. To ensure our cancellation policy is upheld, we require a credit card to hold any appointment while booking. Cancellations made with less than a 24-hour notice will be subject to a charge of 50% of the booked appointment value. We thank you in advance for respecting our policy.
*Cancellations due to illness during COVID-19 will not require you to adhere to our cancellation policy. If you are ill with a fever, cough, or other COVID-19 symptoms, or if you have been exposed to anyone with symptoms or who has tested positive for COVID-19, we ask that you please reschedule your appointment in 14 days.
RETURN POLICY
If you’re not fully satisfied with the products or tools that you have purchased you can exchange them within 2 weeks of purchase. After 2 weeks returns will not be accepted.
CLIENT POLICY
We are a very inclusive company and welcome all into our salon. We do reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who is disrespectful to our staff or clients, makes a member of our staff or clients uncomfortable in any way.
CLIENT SATISFACTION GUARANTEE
If you are not completely satisfied with your service, please contact us so we can offer an adjustment. At this appointment, at no charge to you, we will work with you to make the results to your satisfaction. Your adjustment service will be scheduled with the same stylist who performed the original service. Please contact us in order to book an adjustment service within a week of your original appointment to qualify for this service.
