Bringing 10 years of experience with a dedicated specialty in curly hair and a true passion for color, Faiza leads our team as Salon Manager. She believes exceptional hair care goes beyond technical skill; it’s about crafting a tailored, luxury experience where every client feels seen and heard. Passionate about celebrating diverse natural textures, Faiza ensures the standard of excellence is felt in every chair, every day. Outside the salon, Faiza finds her greatest joy in spending quality time with family and soaking in life as a mom to her sweet boy.

Monika is a talented stylist and Aveda graduate from the class of 2017. She is Rezo certified and has honed her skills through exclusive training with North America Artistic Director Naomi Dove, as well as mentorship under Leora Green, Artistic Director of Regis. Monika is passionate about staying ahead of the latest trends and continually elevating her craft. Outside of the salon, Monika loves to travel and explore new places, always seeking out fresh experiences with her daughter by her side. A true foodie, she’s always on the hunt for new culinary adventures.

Since graduating beauty school in 2018, I’ve been passionately creating stunning hair transformations, with a special focus on curly cuts. For the past two and a half years, I’ve had the privilege of being part of the Curl Salon team. My goal is always to make my clients feel confident, comfortable, and assured that they’re in the best hands possible. When I'm not working with curls, you can find me sipping on my favorite drink, a dirty iced chai—an essential part of my day! I’m the youngest of seven adopted siblings, and from an early age, I learned how to do my own hair since my parents weren’t familiar with styling techniques. I’m proud of my mixed Puerto Rican and Sicilian heritage, and I’m deeply connected to my faith and family. I adore children and animals, and I firmly believe that my chair is a space where you can freely explore your curl potential—without judgment. My chair is also a no-sorry zone—there’s no need to apologize for tangles, thick hair, or long hair! We’re here to embrace it all. I absolutely love what I do and feel incredibly fortunate to work with such an amazing team. I can’t wait to welcome you into my chair and help you embrace your unique beauty!

Jamie is a passionate Curl Specialist who graduated Cosmetology in 2021 and immediately began advanced training focused on curly hair. Her number one goal is to help clients discover and maintain curls that truly reflect who they are. Jamie loves helping each client build a routine that works with their lifestyle, making great curls feel achievable every day. In addition to her curl expertise, Jamie is experienced in bridal hair, upstyling and makeup. She feels incredible honored to be part of such meaningful moments and loves helping brides and their loved ones create a wedding experience that feels beautiful, memorable and uniquely theirs.

Bella is a versatile stylist with a passion for curly cuts, men’s cuts, color, highlights, and bold transformations. She’s also a seasoned makeup artist with over a decade of experience in bridal, TV, film, pageants, and runway. Bella loves educating her clients about their hair through the science of texture and proper care, empowering them to embrace their unique looks. She’s especially skilled at working with kids and creating a comfortable, informative environment for all clients. As a neurodivergent stylist, Bella prioritizes a welcoming, judgment-free environment where every client feels heard, comfortable, and confident. An artist at heart, Bella is also involved in filming and local theater, and she loves spending time with her cat, Milo. As a neurodivergent individual, she’s passionate about holding space for those who may feel different at times and encourages everyone to practice self-love and acceptance. Livvy is a talented stylist who graduated from Aveda in August 2024, bringing a keen eye for detail and a passion for hair artistry. She has received specialized training in our signature Curl Salon cut and color techniques, as well as in Rezo cutting methods, ensuring she can cater to a wide range of hair textures and styles. Outside of the salon, Livvy is an avid crafter with a love for painting and interior design. She enjoys spending time with her family and has a deep affection for animals. Livvy’s ultimate dream is to one day own a farm by a peaceful pond, where she can continue to nurture her creative spirit and love for nature.

Trinis graduated from Aveda in May 2025 and is passionate about helping everyone feel beautiful, confident, and unapologetically themselves. She loves working with all types of curls and bringing hair to life. As a queer stylist, Trinis is dedicated to creating a welcoming space where everyone feels comfortable, celebrated, and free to express themselves! Outside of the salon, Trinis is a digital artist, crafter, and animator! She loves dancing the Lindy Hop and is also part of a Polish folk dance group. A passionate animal lover, they have a special place in their heart for the often-overlooked critters of the world (especially snakes!) But until she can own a snake of her own, she has two crazy and lovable dogs with her family

Happy is a Minneapolis local, they live with their cat and Ioves walking around the neighborhood with her. When they are not behind the chair, you can usually find them playing video games, listening to music, watching movies, or hanging out with her friends. They started my career knowing they wanted to work with curly hair because they believe your hair should fit your life, not the other way around. Whether you love spending 30 minutes styling your curls or need something that comes together in 3, we can build your styling routine together. Happy's goal is to help you understand your curls, find a routine that feels manageable, and feel confident rocking your natural texture. Leila is a talented stylist and 2026 graduate of Saint Paul College. She has a passion for working with curly hair and loves creating vibrant, vivid color looks that let each client’s personality shine. Leila is especially passionate about helping people express themselves through their hair and embrace their individuality. Outside of the salon, she loves all things creative, from painting and making clothes to designing jewelry. When she’s not crafting, you can find her traveling, making music, or enjoying the outdoors. She’s also a huge animal lover and proud pet mom to two cats and two snakes!

A proud graduate of Aveda, Lauren has spent the last eight years perfecting her craft, specializing in curly hair. Growing up in a family of stylists with her mom in the industry, Lauren’s passion for hair runs deep. She loves helping clients embrace their natural curls with cuts that enhance and define their unique texture. When she’s not behind the chair, Lauren is at home with her two daughters or baking up a fresh batch of sourdough bread. Her expertise and warm, approachable personality make her a favorite with curly-haired clients.

Olivia is a skilled Curl Specialist who graduated from Century College as an outstanding student. With a passion for helping clients embrace their natural curls, Olivia is dedicated to meeting you where you are in your curl journey and creating a personalized routine that suits your unique lifestyle. Whether you're new to curly hair or a seasoned curl enthusiast, she works with you to find the best approach to enhance and maintain your curls. Outside the salon, Olivia enjoys immersing herself in fantasy and romance novels. She also adores spending time with her Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, who are a constant source of joy and companionship.

Kenzi is a graduate of the Minnesota School of Cosmetology, where she completed her education in 2018. She enjoys revitalizing hair to bring out its natural beauty. Outside of the salon, Kenzi enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending quality time with her two beloved pups.

Halley graduated from Century College in early 2026 and has been a licensed esthetician since 2019. Passionate about all things hair, she loves exploring new trends, working with different textures, and creating personalized experiences for every client in her chair. Outside the salon, Halley is a busy mom to her two boys, Bennett and Bodhi. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, content creation, capturing memories through photography, and discovering new places to eat!

is an experienced stylist and educator who graduated from Aveda in 2013. She has been specializing in curly hair since 2018, and he Korryn r passion for helping others look and feel their best drives everything she does. With a keen focus on the importance of product ingredients, Korryn ensures that every client receives the best care for their hair and overall well-being. Outside of the salon, Korryn is a proud mother to two wonderful children, Henley and Reign, who inspire her every day.

Lea is currently in cosmetology school pursing what she loves doing best, which is hair and makeup! Once she graduates she hopes on becoming a Curl Expert and Makeup Artist at The Curl Salon. Leas love for curls started when she realized this was something she wanted to do professionally, she wanted her chair to feel welcoming and comfortable for all hair types. Her ultimate mission and goal is being able to help others feel like their most beautiful self. Outside of the salon, Lea loves painting, reading fantasy novels, and going on roadtrips with her husband. She also enjoys spending time with her two cats; Snoopy & Luna

Sydney brings a welcoming spirit and authentic energy to every client interaction at The Curl Salon. With her sociable personality and love for connecting with others, she strives to make everyone feel comfortable and cared for from the moment they walk through the door. Always eager to lend a helping hand, Sydney has also taken on the creative projects of designing the salon’s website and upcoming magazine. Outside the salon, she is a graphic design and user experience student at the University of Minnesota with a passion for all things creative, whether through digital design or phyiscal media. She also has a love for fashion, beauty, and exploring new ways to express her creativity!

Maddi is a receptionist who graduated with a BFA in Fine Arts from MCAD in the class of 2021. One of their favorite aspects of being a receptionist at the Curl Salon is being able to serve and connect with their curly community in Minneapolis, as well as working with all of the talented stylists at the Curl Salon. When not at the salon, Maddi enjoys running with their dog, weightlifting, and taking pottery classes.

Rayna is a retired hairstylist with 27 years of experience and a lifelong passion for the beauty industry. Throughout her career, she found the greatest joy in building meaningful relationships with clients and helping them feel confident. Today, she loves working alongside a talented team of young stylists and watching the next generation bring their creativity to life. Outside the salon, Rayna is a proud mother of four sons and a loving grandmother to her granddaughter, Izzy. She enjoys spending time with family, bike rides, walking her dog, and listening to local music

As the Executive Coordinator for The Curl Salon, Briannah keeps operations running seamlessly with dedication and style. Holding a degree in culinary arts, she balances her role at the salon with her work as a private chef—using her organizational expertise here to pave the way for her future business endeavors. Outside the salon, the newly married 22-year-old enjoys experimenting with new recipes, hosting friends and family, and celebrating life's sweet new milestones

Kristina has built a thriving, high-end salon experience while mentoring stylists and guiding fellow salon owners towards success. She is dedicated to innovation and excellence and a strong advocate for children facing medical hair loss through her partnership with Wigs for Kids. Beyond the salon, Kristina is a devoted mother, wife, and philanthropist. As a mother to a daughter with autism, she understands the importance of confidence and inclusion, which fuels her passion for giving back. Through the salon's curly initiatives, she ensures children start the school year feeling their best by offering free back-to-school haircuts, kids' styling classes, and education on embracing their natural curls. Her mission is to create beauty that extends beyond hair, building self-esteem, fostering community, and making a lasting impact.
