This guide can act as a starting point for getting your curls looking like you just left the salon, everyday.

For Wavy Hair

Massage scalp with cleanser to remove dirt and oil. When applying cleanser focus primarily on the scalp. Activate your cleanser in your palms before massaging onto the scalp. Massage cleanser off your scalp through rinse. Double cleanse if there's more product build up.
Activate conditioner between palms and apply conditioner to hair and use fingers or Curl Salon wetbrush to detangle. Rinse out the conditioner to avoid weighing down curls. Seal the curl with a cool rinse before completing. Pro tip-leave a small amount of conditioner on the ends for dryness.
With prayer hands apply the product in sections and scrunch. You can plop for 20 minutes or diffuse on low air with warm heat. To avoid excess frizz keep movement of the diffuser and touching to a minimum until 100% dry.

For Curly Hair

Massage scalp with cleanser to remove dirt and oil. When applying cleanser focus primarily on the scalp. Activate your cleanser in your palms before massaging onto the scalp. Massage cleanser off your scalp through rinse. Double cleanse if additional product build up.
Activate conditioner between palms and apply conditioner to hair and use fingers or Curl Salon wetbrush to detangle. For thick hair detangle in sections. Seal the curl with a cool rinse. Pro tip-For dry hair leave in conditioner.
With your head flipped upside down, apply the product using the prayer hand method. When hair starts to feel squishy and slippery, squeeze out the excess water with your hands followed by a microfiber towel. You can plop hair for 20 minutes or diffuse low with warm heat. To add volume and fullness, apply clips to roots while drying.

For Coily Hair

Section hair into 4 quadrants and massage scalp with cleanser to remove dirt and oil. When applying cleanser focus primarily on the scalp. Activate your cleanser in your palms before massaging onto the scalp. Massage cleanser off your scalp through rinse. Double cleanse if additional product buildup.
Activate conditioner between palms and apply conditioner to hair and use fingers or Curl Salon wetbrush to detangle. For thick hair detangle in sections. Seal the curl with a cool rinse. For dry hair leave in conditioner.
Section hair into quadrants, apply the product using the prayer hand method and/or detangle brush. Hair should feel squishy and slippery. You can plop hair or diffuse low with warm heat. To add volume and fullness, apply clips to roots while drying. To elongate curls you can also apply clips to anchor the ends of hair while drying.
